Day 21 - POWER HOUR

I've been seriously slacking off, so I decided to do a power hour. I spent 20 minutes on each of these 3 paintings. I didn't realize how little time 20 minutes is, but it was some great practice. **Special thanks** to Ceddie and Tami for traveling so much and taking awesome photos. Days 18

Here is a quick digital painting of some waves crashing against rocks. I did a lovely watercolor in Chike's backyard yesterday, in addition to an awesome collaborative watercolor with Genine, so I will post pics of those as soon as I take some.

I ruined my streak! Oh well..at least I HAVE been doing landscapes daily, I just didn't post them. Here is a mountain speed painting I did. I've found that working really small at first and then zooming in after all my values are in is the best way for me to work.

Ok, I know this is a very sad painting of a waterfall. Had I not told you, you may not have even known it was a waterfall. Let's hope for a better landscape tomorrow.

Here is attempt one at a digital environment painting. I'm so used to focusing on figures that it's hard for me to get into an environment mindset. I painted this one from a photo I took in Australia.

Goals! I got some!

I decided that I do really want to achieve some goals, so I'm actually going to update this thing every day with a new piece of artwork. This month, I am going to focus on environments. Here's a painting of some Australian views. Enjoy!
